Itinerary
If you need hotel transfers, we'll pick you up between 05:30 (south of the island) and 06:30 (north of the island). We'll send you a more accurate pickup time once the booking is in. By air-conditioned minivan we make our way to the private pier close to Khao Lak.
At the pier, you will be welcomed with hot drinks (tea, coffee) and bakery to enjoy a light breakfast. After a brief introduction and fitting of the snorkeling gear, it's time to head to the Similan islands!
We board the speedboat and sail towards the Similan Islands. The trip takes around 1 hour and 50 minutes in normal sea conditions.
Dive into your first snorkeling experience at Island No.5 and No.6. Here you will have an amazing view of the underwater life. Check out the coral and colorful fish below the surface!
We then take you to Island No.4 (Koh Miang), where you can relax at Princess Bay with your own leisure on the beach.
At Koh Miang, we provide a quality lunch box set. Enjoy your food on the beach and relax at the bay afterwards.
We board the speedboat for a short ride to island No. 9. Here we go snorkeling at Christmas Point or Namchai bay. Both are absolutely beautiful locations with attractive coral reefs and a variety of colourful fishes.
Our next stop is the famous landmark of the Similan islands: Sailing rock. It's located at island No. 8 (Koh Similan). Here you can climb up to the viewpoint on top of Sailing rock, relax on the beach or go swimming.
It's time to leave this amazing place and head back to the pier in Khao Lak. We're sure you will smile all the way back :)
At the end of the afternoon, we will arrive back at private pier (Tub-lamu). Here you can enjoy a variety of drinks, snacks, tasty papaya salad, fried chicken and ice cream. Afterwards, it's time for the return transfer to your hotel in Phuket. You should arrive there no later than 18:30. The Similan Island tour from Phuket ends here!

The Similan Islands close every year for day trips between 15 May - 15 October. This is because the seas are generally too rough to make it a safe trip. Also, the environment has a chance to recover from day trips during high season. Which keeps the Similan Islands beautiful and accessible every year. You can book our Similan Island tours between 15 October - 15 May.
The best time to visit the Similan Islands from Phuket is during the dry season, which typically runs from November to April. During these months, the weather is generally sunny with clear skies, calm seas, and mild temperatures. That makes it ideal for outdoor activities like swimming, snorkeling, and beach hopping.
The Similan Islands tour from Phuket is not suitable for pregnant women, persons over 65 years old and children under 1 year old. If you are in reasonably good condition, the speedboat trip should be fine for you. Please keep in mind that it takes almost 2 hours to reach the Similan Islands. Some kids do better than others, but that is a decision you can best make for your own children.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

Just wow. I loved every second. Similan is paradise.
Totally worth the early wake up. By 9am we were already at the first island and it was magical. Our guide Nok was super friendly and made the day fun. Food was fine, not fancy but tasty. Can’t believe how blue that water was.
The islands were nice but there were too many people at some spots. It felt a little rushed.
