Pickup window06:00–07:00Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Phuket. We'll send you a more accurate pickup time once the booking is confirmed. By air-conditioned minivan we make our way to the pier close to Khao Lak.
At the pier, you will be welcomed with hot drinks (tea, coffee) and food (bread, rice soup, noodles, fruits and snacks) to enjoy a light breakfast. After a brief introduction and fitting of the snorkeling gear, it's time to head to the Similan islands by speed catamaran!
We board the speed catamaran and sail towards the Similan Islands. The trip takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes in normal sea conditions.
We arrive at island #9 for our first snorkeling stop. You can enjoy the underwater world with its colorful fish for 30-45 minutes here. If you're lucky, you might even spot a turtle!
You then visit Sail Rock, where you can climb up to the viewpoint. If you don't feel like that, you can relax on the beach.
Enjoy a Thai style lunch. Dishes to choose from are Pad Thai, Fried rice or Som Tum with shrimp crackers, fresh fruits and snacks.
At the beautiful Payu island we make our second snorkel stop of the day. You can enjoy snorkeling here for around 30–40 minutes.
On Miang island you can enjoy free time on the beach. Go swimming, snorkeling or sunbathing and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
At the end of the day it's time to board the speed catamaran for the last time for the return journey to Phuket. The trip takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes.
On arrival at the pier, our drivers will be waiting for you to bring you back to your hotel. You should arrive there no later than 18:45.

FAQs
You have to show your passport for the Similan Islands to purchase the national park entry ticket, as passport details are required for registration and insurance purposes, and to manage daily visitor limits. Tour companies need this information to book your ticket in advance, and park officials may also require it for on-site verification.
The Similan Islands close every year for day trips between 15 May - 15 October. This is because the seas are generally too rough to make it a safe trip. Also, the environment has a chance to recover from day trips during high season. Which keeps the Similan Islands beautiful and accessible every year. You can book our Similan Island tours between 15 October - 15 May.
The best time to visit the Similan Islands from Phuket is during the dry season, which typically runs from November to April. During these months, the weather is generally sunny with clear skies, calm seas, and mild temperatures. That makes it ideal for outdoor activities like swimming, snorkeling, and beach hopping.
The Similan islands tour from Phuket is not suitable for pregnant women, persons over 65 years old and children under 1 year old. If you are in reasonably good condition, the catamaran trip should be fine for you. Please keep in mind that it takes almost 2 hours to reach the Similan islands. Some kids do better than others, but that is a decision you can best make for your own children.

Brilliant tour. Great service, comfy boat, and they even had ginger candies for seasickness. Very thoughtful crew.

Just wow. Beach looked fake, it was so beautiful. Snorkeling was my fave part though – the water is SO clear. Saw baby shark!

Such a good mix of adventure and chill time. I was a bit nervous at first but the staff explained all the safety stuff. Loved every minute of it.
